The Storm SH Range supplies the higher performance required for all production environments worldwide. The 12,000 rpm spindle coupled with the 1472" per minute rapid traverse rates dramatically reduces cycle times while maintaining rugged cutting performance. The 24 position Dual arm tool changer and chip removal system completes the standard features of this superb performance package.

  • Extra heavy duty ‘Meehanite’ cast iron base and saddle ensures proven thermal and mechanical rigidity, plus vibration absorption which are extremely important characteristics necessary for heavy loads and high speed traverses.

The 12,000 rpm belt driven spindle (10,000/15,000 rpm optional) provides the high speeds required to enable superior part finish combined with the ability to maintain excellent cutting performance.

 The massive cast iron and heavily ribbed column provides  greater damping capacity than steel. Our extra deep column provides maximum lateral stiffness, for consistent accuracy while withstanding the tremendous forces required during heavy cutting.
Standard 24 position Dual Arm Toolchanger with an extremely quick 2.5 second tool-to-tool change time, which will reduce your cycle times and improve your work throughput.   The roller linear rail system is designed to allow fast traverse rates up to 1417" (36m) per minute. The integral pressurized forced lubrication system provides trouble free long life and higher accuracy levels.
